This TSBJ rack end is the inner tie rod for the Mercedes-Benz A-Class W169 and B-Class W245 front steering, built to OE numbers 1693300903 and 1693300803. It threads into the steering rack on one end and into the outer tie rod end on the other, transferring rack movement to the wheel hub. When the ball socket inside the rack end wears, a small amount of play appears at every steering input, and that play is what the driver feels as a dead spot around centre, a knock over broken surfaces and a car that will not hold a straight line.
We manufacture the Mercedes W169 rack end as an OEM supplier, not a reseller. The housing is formed to the original dimensions, the ball stud is machined to the OE thread and taper specification, and the socket is greased and sealed with a new boot before packing. Because the thread pitch and length match the original, the rack end installs on the factory steering rack without adapters, and the toe setting can be returned to spec with a standard alignment.
Zhejiang Tongshi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. has produced chassis and steering components since 1985 and operates an IATF 16949:2016 quality system at its 12,000 square metre plant in Yuhuan, Zhejiang. The A-Class W169 rack end is supplied at factory-direct wholesale pricing with a 12-month warranty, and is available with neutral packaging or under your own brand for OEM and ODM orders.
Because inner tie rods are a high-turnover steering repair item, workshops and distributors usually order them together with outer tie rod ends and rack boots. We hold more than 3,000 chassis and steering references, so the complete steering repair can be consolidated into a single shipment.
1. OE 1693300903 / 1693300803 direct replacement: thread pitch, length and taper matched to the original rack end, so no adapters are needed.
2. Removes steering dead spot: a new ball socket eliminates the play that causes a loose centre feel and wandering on the motorway.
3. Sealed and pre-greased socket: grease is packed during assembly and retained by a new dust boot, keeping water and grit out of the joint.
4. OE-matched thread and taper: the stud seats correctly in the outer tie rod end, so toe adjustment stays within the normal range.
5. IATF 16949:2016 production: automotive quality system, in-house inspection, batch traceability.
6. 12-month warranty: standard cover for aftermarket distribution.
7. Factory-direct wholesale: produced in our own plant, so cost, lead time and engineering changes stay under our control.

Q: Is this the inner or outer tie rod?
A: This is the rack end, also called the inner tie rod. It threads into the steering rack and connects to the outer tie rod end. The outer tie rod end is a separate part.
Q: Which models does 1693300903 fit?
A: It is built for the Mercedes-Benz A-Class W169 and B-Class W245 front steering, and is also referenced as 1693300803. Confirm your VIN or the number on the existing part before ordering.
Q: How do I know the rack end is worn?
A: Typical signs are free play around steering centre, a knock over bumps, uneven front tyre wear and a car that wanders at speed. A workshop check with the front wheels off the ground will show movement at the inner joint.
Q: Is an alignment needed after fitting?
A: Yes. Replacing a rack end changes the toe setting, so a four-wheel alignment must be carried out afterwards.
Q: What is the MOQ and lead time?
A: MOQ from 1 pcs. Stock items ship in 5-7 days; production orders take 25-40 days, FOB Ningbo or Shanghai.
Neutral packaging as standard, suitable for wholesale resale.
